Over the past two weeks, the Local Amnesty Board (LAB) Albay has had the privilege of welcoming key partners from various sectors in support of the government’s Amnesty Program.

On September 29, 2025, Barracuda TV visited the LAB Albay office and conducted a live interview with Secretariat Head, Mr. Philipp Listanco. The interview addressed frequently asked questions about the amnesty application process and served as a valuable platform for educating the public on the objectives and benefits of the Amnesty Program. This media engagement significantly contributed to raising awareness and extending the program’s reach to a broader audience.

The following day, on September 30, 2025, the Albay 2nd Police Mobile Force Company visited LAB Albay to explore potential collaborations, particularly in assisting former rebels with the processing of their amnesty applications. The discussion highlighted shared goals in promoting peace and reintegration.

On October 2, 2025, the 92nd Special Action Company (SAC), SSAB, SAF paid a courtesy visit to the LAB Albay office to inquire about the amnesty application process and its corresponding requirements. Their visit focused on how they could help disseminate accurate information within their units. They also proposed a future partnership with LAB Albay for an orientation and awareness campaign on the Amnesty Program, specifically tailored for their personnel. Furthermore, plans were discussed to organize an intake activity to encourage eligible former rebels under their custody to avail of the government’s amnesty.

The Local Amnesty Board – Albay extends its sincere appreciation to these agencies for their steadfast support and commitment to the government’s peace-building efforts through the Amnesty Program. These collaborative engagements mark a significant step toward fostering lasting peace and reconciliation in the region.
