NAC joins the 2nd Leg of ICCMN Caravan
The National Amnesty Commission (NAC), represented by Commissioner Jamar M. Kulayan, together with the Local Amnesty Boards (LAB) from Cagayan de Oro and Pagadian, participated in the second leg of the Inter-Cabinet Cluster Mechanism on Normalization (ICCMN) Caravan. The event took place at two Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) camps in northeastern Mindanao: Camp Bushra in Butig, Lanao Del Sur, and Camp Bilal in Munai, Lanao Del Norte.
This event continues the crucial process of ensuring human security in the Bangsamoro, empowering communities to achieve a better quality of life through sustainable livelihoods and political engagement. It marks a significant turning point in our efforts toward healing and reconciliation, as former combatants work toward reintegration into society and the creation of a peaceful, united future. Additionally, the NAC, through the LABs in Cagayan de Oro and Pagadian, accepted amnesty applications from MILF members.
Commissioner Kulayan, along with Prosecutor Abduljabbar B. Guro from the Office of the Provincial Prosecutor of Lanao del Sur (OPP-LDS), administered the oath to the applicants.
