𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐦𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐦𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟑

09 January 2025 (San Fernando City, Pampanga) – The National Amnesty Commission (NAC), led by Chairperson Leah Tanodra-Armamento, together with the Local Amnesty Board (LAB) in Pampanga, conducted a courtesy visit to the Office of the Police Regional Office (PRO) Region 3. Police Brigadier General Redrico A. Maranan, Regional Director of PRO Region 3, was represented by Police Colonel Jeffrey Z. Decena, Deputy Regional Director for Administration (DRDA), who welcomed the NAC and LAB representatives.

Chairperson Tanodra-Armamento provided an overview of the NAC’s mandate and its Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR). In line with its IRR, the NAC established LABs in selected areas across the country, including San Fernando City, Pampanga, to serve as frontline offices responsible for accepting, vetting, and processing applications. She also discussed the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) membership in the LAB Pampanga and highlighted their active involvement in ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of the government’s amnesty program.

The meeting emphasized the PNP’s role as part of the LAB. The PNP issued an office order designating primary and alternate representatives to the newly created LABs. LAB Pampanga provided the NAC Application Form along with Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials to facilitate public awareness.

LAB Pampanga expressed its gratitude for the PNP’s commitment, support, and cooperation in fulfilling the NAC’s mandate. Both parties reaffirmed their mutual dedication to the success of the amnesty program.
