06 December 2024 (Cotabato City) — The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) Secretariat in Cotabato City paid a courtesy visit to Police Brigadier General Romeo Juan Macapaz, the newly installed Regional Director of the Police Regional Office of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region (PRO-BAR) in Parang, Maguindanao del Norte.

Key topics discussed were the amnesty program, updates on the amnesty applications, functions of the members of the LAB, and other technical support that the PRO-BAR can provide for the LAB.

PBGEN Macapaz assured the LAB that the PRO-BAR is in full support of the government’s amnesty program as a significant step towards nation healing.

PBGEN Macapaz shall serve as the primary member of the LABs in Cotabato, Jolo, Sulu and Isabela City, Basilan.
