25 October 2024 (Cotabato City) — The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) Secretariat in Cotabato City held an orientation session with the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) Secretariat and the MNLF Peace Process Office (PPO) under the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU). The session aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the government’s Amnesty Program.

The orientation covered the application process, focusing on aligning verification procedures with the MNLF subcommittee and the secretariat to streamline cooperation.

The meeting also clarified the roles of the National Amnesty Commission (NAC) and its LAB, the MNLF PPO-OPAPRU, and the MNLF management committee to ensure efficient coordination in implementing the program.
