𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐦𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

03 February 2025 – The Local Amnesty Board Secretariat in Catbalogan City, Samar has taken a significant step towards operationalization by coordinating with representatives of Provincial Governor Sharee Ann T. Tan. As the designated Head of the Local Amnesty Board, Governor Tan’s involvement is crucial in ensuring the board’s success.

During the meeting, Mr. Michael Cristobal, Ms. Golda Meir Tabao, and Ms. Alma Austero from the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) identified key logistical requirements for the successful implementation of the Amnesty program, including additional manpower, office space, and more importantly, awareness and information campaigns in the province.

The PSWDO’s commitment to assist the LAB, along with other partner agencies, will ensure the effective implementation of the LAB’s mandate in line with the government’s Amnesty program.
