𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐦𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝟏𝟓𝟎 𝐀𝐦𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬

16 January 2025 (Samar) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) in Catbalogan City has received a total of 150 amnesty applications to date.

In Calbiga, Samar, twenty-one (21) former rebels from the 46th Infantry Battalion took a significant step toward redemption by availing themselves of the amnesty program. This followed an orientation conducted by the LAB.

The event was attended by representatives from the Municipal Social Welfare Development Office (MSWDO) and the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation, and Unity (OPAPRU) Special Project Teams (SPTs), who co-assisted in the filling out of application forms. The Barangay Chairperson of Barangay Literon, Calbiga, then administered the oath of allegiance for the former rebel applicants.
