𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐦𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐨 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐝𝐬 𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞

13 January 2025 (Baguio City) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Baguio City held its inaugural meeting at the City Mayor’s Office.

Attendees included Mr. Benjie Macadangdang, Executive Assistant IV from the City Mayor’s Office; Deputy City Prosecutor Alfred Ganaban and Atty. Gleeson Ventura from the Department of Justice (DOJ); Atty. Elmer Sagsago of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Baguio-Benguet Chapter; and representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), including Police Major Julius Basinga, Police Captain June Diwag, and Police Staff Sergeant John Bryan Cong-o.

The LAB Secretariat provided updates and facilitated discussions during the meeting, with attendees expressing their full support for the government’s amnesty program.

Following the meeting, the LAB Secretariat paid a courtesy visit to Police Colonel Ruel Tagel, City Director of the Baguio City Police Office. During the visit, they presented a brief overview of the PNP’s role in the amnesty program, to which the City Director expressed and affirmed his full support.
