20 November, 2025 (Sierra Bullones, Bohol) β As part of the annual celebration of the Amnesty Proclamationsβ Anniversary and the start for the 100-day Countdown before the amnesty application period ends, the Local Amnesty Board-Bohol (LAB-Bohol) joined the Community Empowerment through Youth Awareness Program on Counter-Insurgency at Brgy. Dusita, Sierra Bullones, Bohol, on November 20, 2025, in coordination with the Provincial Cooperative Development Office (PCDO), Office of the Provincial Social Welfare and Development (OPSWD), and Provincial Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (PTF-ELCAC).
A total of 150 Senior High School students of Dusita High School sat in the symposium and paid attention as the LAB-Bohol Secretariat introduced the establishment and implementation of LAB in the province and as well as extended awareness on the impact of insurgency in the community.
As the famous aphorism says, βAng kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan,β this activity highlights the crucial role of our youth, who are considered the vulnerable sectors of our society particularly in adapting different influences, to always choose the right path that will help not just oneself, but the whole community in general.
