05 March 2024 (Tanjay City, Negros Oriental) – In a momentous first, the National Amnesty Commission’s (NAC) Executive Committee, led by Chairperson Atty. Leah C. Tanodra-Armamento with Commissioner Atty. Jamar M. Kulayan, administered the oath of amnesty applicants during an intake activity with members of the KAPATIRAN at Camp Leon Kilat in Tanjay City, Negros Oriental.

Organized by the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity’s RPA-CPLA Peace Process Office, the event aimed to facilitate the application process of members of the Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawa-Pilipinas/Revolutionary Proletarian Army/Alex Boncayao Brigade (RPM-P/RPA/ABB), specifically of the Tabara Paduano Group now known as the β€œKAPATIRAN,” who were granted amnesty through Presidential Proclamation No. 403, series of 2023.
