20 to 27 February 2025 (Davao City) – The National Amnesty Commission (NAC), represented by Atty. Rizal Thaddeus Acas, joined the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) activity dubbed as β€œTraining of Trainers on Human Rights and Amnesty Awareness Raising” at The Pinnacle Hotel in Davao City.

During the activity, Atty. Acas discussed details about the NAC’s role in the government’s amnesty program. He also shared before the participants the process and guidelines on how the NAC processes amnesty applications prior its turnover to the Office of the President.

The activity aimed to capacitate select MILF members who are then seen to facilitate orientations and assistance at the community level, ultimately strengthening the call for amnesty applications among eligible members of the MILF.
