02 April 2025 (Muntinlupa City) – In a move to strengthen collaboration on amnesty initiatives, National Amnesty Commission (NAC) Commissioner Ser-me L. Ayuyao, alongside Atty. Rizal Thaddeus Acas, Head of the Commission Secretariat, and Atty. Angel Sosa of the Legal and Amnesty Operations Office, paid a courtesy visit to Assistant Secretary Al I. Perreras, Deputy Director General for Administration of the Bureau of Corrections (BuCor).

During the meeting, Commissioner Ayuyao proposed a potential partnership between NAC and BuCor to enhance outreach efforts and engagement with eligible amnesty applicants. Discussions included the possibility of formalizing the collaboration through a memorandum of agreement, aiming to streamline processes and expand access to amnesty programs.
