22 July 2024 (Cotabato City) โ€” The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) Secretariat in Cotabato City paid a courtesy visit to Jail Senior Superintendent Bermar B. Adlaon, the Regional Director of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM)

The discussion focused on the governmentโ€™s amnesty program, including applications by Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) under the detention or prison facilities of BJMP-BARMM, the dissemination of information to jail units, and assistance with the applications of PDLs covered by the amnesty program.

JSSupt Adlaon assured LAB Cotabato City that BJMP-BARMM will collaborate to support PDLs who are members of Rebolusyonaryong Partidong Manggagawa ng Pilipinas/Revolutionary Proletarian Army/Alex Boncayao Brigade (RPMP-RPA-ABB), Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), and to former members of the Communist Party of the Philippines-New Peoples Army-National Democratic Front (CPP-NPA-NDF) who have expressed their interest in applying for the governmentโ€™s amnesty program.
