18 June 2025 (Pili, Camarines Sur) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) – Albay, in collaboration with the 9th Infantry Division, recently conducted an Amnesty Orientation and Workshop to support the national amnesty program and encourage wider participation. The activity focused on enhancing awareness and procedural competence among key stakeholders, particularly personnel from the Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Civil-Military Operations (CMO). It was held at the 9th Infantry Division (9ID), Camp Elias Angeles, San Jose, Pili, Camarines Sur, as part of their Civil-Military Operations Competency Enhancement Training (CMOCET) and Counter-CTG White Area Operation Training (CCWAOT) for Calendar Year 2025.
The primary objective of the orientation and workshop was to disseminate accurate and comprehensive information about the amnesty program. During the activity, detailed briefings about qualifications, proper manner of filling out application forms and required documentary requirements were discussed and participants were given a workshop to ensure understanding of the process of amnesty applications. An open question forum was also conducted to clarify and answer concerns that may be encountered during the filing process.
