26 – 27 May 2025 (Mt. Province) – In response to an invitation from the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC), through Mr. Angel Baybay, the Local Amnesty Board (LAB) Baguio Secretariat participated in the Mt. Province flag-raising ceremony and successfully conducted an orientation on the National Amnesty Program for former rebels from BLOOMP and CHANG-AS.

This collaborative initiative, held in partnership with local government units and the Philippine National Police (PNP)—including PLtCol. Apdilon Galong, PLtCol. Leandro Bandioan, and other police officers—as well as other key stakeholders such as Ms. Gen Yodong from the Department of Social Welfare and Development, the Mt. Province Provincial Prosecutor’s Office represented by Atty. Golda Bagawi, and Atty. Sergio Milan, provided former rebels with vital information, application support, and a solemn Oath of Allegiance ceremony.

PNP personnel, including MPPPO Provincial Director PCol. Ferdinand Oydoc and PCol. Bernard Wong, also extended essential support and security assistance throughout the activity, ensuring its smooth and orderly conduct.

This collective effort marks a hopeful step toward peace, unity, and national reconciliation.
