01 to 02 April 2025 (San Fernando) – The Local Amnesty Board of Cagayan de Oro (LAB CDO) joined the two-day Capacity Building and Former Rebels Summit organized by the Task Force Balik-Loob (TFBL), in partnership with the 89th Infantry (Makatao) Battalion and the 1003rd Infantry (Raptor) Brigade, held on April 1–2, 2025, at the SF Eco-Adventure Park & Resort in San Fernando, Province of Bukidnon.

The summit aimed to reinforce reintegration efforts for amnesty applicants by providing them with livelihood opportunities, skills training, and access to timely government services.

The LAB Secretariat discussed key points of the amnesty program with the participants, who were composed mainly of amnesty applicants, Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (ECLIP) implementers, and representatives from various government agencies.

The two-day event concluded with the conduct of the ECLIP Committee Meeting in the Province of Bukidnon, presided over by TFBL Chairperson and Undersecretary for Defense Affairs Angelito M. De Leon. Usec. De Leon reaffirmed the government’s sincere commitment to intensifying reintegration efforts and strengthening support mechanisms to ensure a smooth and effective transition of former rebels (FRs) into mainstream society. He also commended the impressive collaboration and coordination among government agencies in the province, which led to the effective delivery of these vital support services.

A Reconciliation Ritual conducted by the IP community highlighted the closing ceremonies—a fitting tribute to the ultimate goal of lasting peace and healing.
