24 February 2025 (Ermita, Manila) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) in National Capital Region held its first conference at the Bayview Park Hotel in Ermita, Manila.

A total of 14 applications were resolved in the conference, with some applicants attending online from the Metro Manila District Jail Annex 4 and New Bilibid Prison Maximum Security.

Present at the event were LAB Members Atty. Rosita Chua-Cham and Atty. Orlalyn F. Suarez-Fetesio from the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Assistant State Prosecutor Evee Eunice P. De Keyser from the Department of Justice, Police Brigadier General Reynaldo M. Tamondong and Police Lieutenant Colonel Carizza Matel Morallos from the Philippine National Police, and Colonel Romel P. Recinto and Lieutenant Colonel Arniel C. Tormis from the Armed Forces of the Philippines.

The conference concluded with a discussion on streamlining the amnesty application process to better support future applicants.
