17 to 20 February 2025 (Baguio City) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) in Baguio City concluded a set of amnesty orientations with the Police Regional Office of the Cordillera Administrative Region (PRO CAR) and the Regional Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (RTF-ELCAC).

The LAB paid a courtesy visit to Police Brigadier General David Peredo, Jr., Regional Director of PRO CAR at Camp Major Bado Dangwa in La Trinidad, Benguet. An orientation was also held to inform the PRO CAR force of details regarding the government’s amnesty program. Officials of the PRO CAR, along with their units, also graced the activity where the Cordillera PRO emphasized their commitment to contribute to the success of the program.

The LAB also visited the RTF-ELCAC Operations Center and participated at the Cordillera Regional Peace and Order Council First Quarter Meeting. Presided by CRPOC and LAB Baguio Chairperson Mayor Benjamin Magalong with CRPOC Vice-Chairman PBGEN Peredo, Jr., the LAB was able to conduct a brief amnesty orientation during the activity.
