14 February 2025 (San Fernando, La Union) – The National Amnesty Commission, headed by Chairperson Atty. Leah C. Tanodra-Armamento, along with the Local Amnesty Boards in La Union and Pampanga, paid a courtesy visit with Philippine National Police (PNP) Region 1 Director PBGEN Lou F. Evangelista and Deputy Provincial Director PLTCOL Arnold S. Ochangen.

The meeting aimed to strengthen the collaboration of the NAC, through its LABs, and the region’s police force. The discussion centered on the critical role of the PNP on the Amnesty process, ultimately aimed to restoring full civil and political rights to former rebels in the country.

The visit reaffirmed the showed commitment of both the NAC and the PNP to promote lasting and sustainable peace and healing across the nation.
