11 July 2025 (Catbalogan City, Samar) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Catbalogan City successfully conducted its 9th and 10th Case Conferences at the Samar Police Provincial Office on July 10-11, 2025. During the two-day session, the board reviewed and verified 15 amnesty applications, approving 14 and referring one for further verification.

The approved applications met the requirements under Amnesty Proclamation 404, demonstrating completeness of documentary requirements, eligibility, and full cooperation during the evaluation process. LAB members, including representatives from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Philippine National Police, Department of Justice, and Public Attorney’s Office, attended the conference.

Ms. Golda Meir Tabao led the conference in the absence of LAB Chairperson Hon. Sharee Ann T. Tan, alongside other key officials. The Public Attorney’s Office provided full assistance in facilitating the Oath of Allegiance and notarization of application forms for the approved applicants.

This development underscores the LAB’s commitment to justice, reconciliation, and reintegration of qualified individuals into mainstream society.
