20 November 2025 (Iloilo City, Iloilo) – The Secretariat of the Local Amnesty Board in Iloilo (LAB Iloilo) took part in the Serbisyo Caravan initiated by the Department of Interior and Local Government Region VI (DILG VI) held last November 20, 2025 at Sam’s 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.

The Serbisyo Caravan gathered government agencies with the aim of delivering basic services and programs to former members of the CPP-NPA-NDF as part of the commitment to reintegration and peace-building. This year’s caravan is entitled β€œHandog Serbisyo, Hakbang Tungo Sa Kapayapaan.”

DILG VI Regional Director Juan Jovian Ingeniero, CESO III delivered the opening remarks to commence the caravan. Afterwards, messages of support were given by representatives from various agencies β€” BGen. Nhel Richard Patricio, Commander of the 301st IB, 3ID of the Philippine Army; PCol. Adrian Acollador from the Police Regional Office VI; Assistant Regional Director for Operations Katherine Joy Lamprea from the Department of Social Welfare and Development VI; Regional Prosecutor Louie Doligosa from the Department of Justice and also serving as Chairperson of LAB Ilolo; Regional Director Priscilla Escobin from the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency 6; and Retired MGen. Glen Paje from the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity.

LAB Iloilo set up a booth where interested individuals may avail of the government’s amnesty program. The Secretariat gave out fliers and brochures containing information about the scope of amnesty, as well as the process of applying.

Toward the end, four former members of the CPP-NPA-NDF applied. This brings the total number of applications received by LAB Iloilo to 254. The LAB remains committed to its mandate of helping contribute to peace and reconciliation in the country, particularly in Region VI.
