19 November, 2025 (Uson, Masbate) – In line with the 2nd celebration of the Amnesty Proclamation, the Local Amnesty Board (LAB) Albay conducted an Amnesty Caravan during the β€œPresentation of Surrenderers and Serbisyo Caravan” held in Uson, Masbate.

LAB Albay participated in the activity facilitated by the 2nd Infantry (Second to None) Battalion headed by LtCol. Lazaro D. Quigao Jr., INF (GSC) PA; Task Group Masbate led by Col. Angelo Z. Lutera, INF (MNSA) PA; and the 9th CMO Battalion under LtCol. Emmerson Ian A. Borja, GSC PA.

During this momentous event, we witnessed the formal surrender of 15 regular NPA members and 48 Milisyang Bayan members, along with the turnover of numerous firearms and ammunition. We also honored 17 Safe Conduct Passes and received the Amnesty Applications of 15 regular NPA members, assisted by Atty. Roy Reyes, District Head of the Dimasalang Public Attorney’s Office.

This collaborative effort underscores the vital role of partner agencies in assisting former rebels who seek safe and lawful reintegration and in ensuring they receive the full care and support of the government. It also serves as a continued encouragement for remaining members to lay down their arms and return to the fold of the law.
