29 October 2025 (Catbalogan, Samar) – The members of the Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Catbalogan, Samar, convened for their 15th case conference at the Conference Room, Samar Police Provincial Office, Catbalogan City.

During the case conference, Ms. Golda Meir Tabao, Alternate Chairperson for Governor Sharee Ann Tan, Samar Police Provincial Director Arwin Tadeo, and an alternate member for the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) were in attendance. The LAB Members deliberated a total of nine (9) amnesty applications. The information provided by the applicants were presented for validation, followed by a formal presentation of the applicants to the board members.

Following their review, the LAB members approved six (6) amnesty applications, with three (3) recommended for further investigation. The approved applications will now be forwarded to the National Amnesty Commission (NAC) Executive Committee for review and subsequently submitted to the NAC en banc for a final resolution. The resolution will then be sent to the Office of the President, who holds the authority to grant or deny amnesty.
