23 October, 2025 (Narvacan, Ilocos Sur) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of La Union, in coordination with the OPAPRU Special Project Team and the Municipality of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, conducted an Amnesty Orientation and Application activity at Sitio Mata East, Brgy. Marozo, Narvacan. Atty. Jamyrah Sanidad, the Municipal Administrator of Narvacan, was present to administer the oath and facilitate the subscription of application forms. A total of 31 former CPP-NPA-NDF members availed themselves of the opportunity to reintegrate into society through the National Amnesty Commission. During the orientation, the LAB Secretariat briefed the applicants on the amnesty process and application procedures. The applicants expressed their gratitude for the chance to clear their names and start anew.
