14 October 2025 (Iloilo City, Iloilo) – Local Amnesty Board (LAB) Iloilo paid a courtesy visit to the Police Regional Office VI under the leadership of its new Regional Director, PBGen. Josefino D. Ligan in Camp Martin Delgado, Fort San Pedro, Iloilo City.

The LAB Secretariat discussed the mandate of the National Amnesty Commission, as well as the function of the Local Amnesty Board and the procedure for the application for amnesty. Emphasizing the need for collaborative discussions and engagement, the LAB Secretariat also informed PBGen. Ligan about the role of LAB Members in holding conferences and deliberations to examine applications received by the LAB.

Toward the end, the LAB Secretariat gave updates about the status of applications in the region. PBGen. Ligan gave his full support in and commitment to helping the LAB achieve its mandate by ensuring the cooperation of his office.
