01 October, 2025 (Malapatan, Sarangani Province) – For the second time, the 73rd Infantry (Neutralizer) Battalion, 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, Philippine Army, invited the Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Koronadal to conduct an Orientation and Application Assistance for Amnesty in collaboration with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO)–Sarangani, led by E-CLIP Focal Person Ms. Lizette Lopez, Social Welfare Officer IV.

The activity, held at the Alpha Company Headquarters in Malapatan, gathered former rebels to participate in the ongoing amnesty program. A total of 18 individuals affiliated with the CPP-NPA-NDF successfully underwent the orientation and processing of their amnesty applications.

Ms. Mariannie B. Uy, Peace Program Officer III of LAB Koronadal, led the session and provided participants with a comprehensive discussion on the amnesty process, including its requirements, benefits, and the opportunities for reintegration into mainstream society.

The Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), represented by Atty. Nestoni M. Senarillos, extended legal support by facilitating the subscription of required documents for the applicants, ensuring due compliance with the legal procedures of the amnesty process.

This initiative highlights the strong inter-agency collaboration among key government partners committed to advancing peace and reconciliation efforts. It underscores the government’s steadfast dedication to providing former rebels with a clear pathway toward transformation and reintegration as productive members of a peaceful, progressive, and insurgency-free community.
