19 September 2025 (Catarman, Northern Samar) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Catbalogan Samar had a fruitful discussion with Deputy Brigade Commander, Col. Ericson Rosana, of the 803rd Brigade. During the meeting, Ms. Jazmine Odyssa Lutao, Peace Program Officer III, provided an update on the status of amnesty applicants from Northern Samar. They further discussed the target number of applicants for Region VIII based on Task Force Balik Loob data.

To increase the number of amnesty applicants, a series of activities with the 803rd Brigade is scheduled to commence in October. Under the leadership of BGen Carmelito Pangatungan, Col. Rosana reaffirmed the brigade’s unwavering commitment and support for the amnesty program.

After the meeting, LAB Catbalogan conducted a hybrid orientation, onsite and via Zoom, for the brigade personnel and battalions about the amnesty program.

The continued dissemination of information will further strengthen collaboration and support from the AFP 803rd Brigade for the amnesty program’s goals.
