19 September, 2025 (Malapatan, Sarangani) – The 73rd Infantry (Neutralizer) Battalion, 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, Philippine Army, facilitated a successful Amnesty Orientation and Application Program, led by the Local Amnesty Board of Koronadal in collaboration with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) Sarangani led by E-clip focal person Ms. Lizette Lopez, Social Welfare Officer lV.

Held at the Alpha Company Headquarters in Malapatan, Sarangani Province, the event brought together 76 former rebels and facilitated the amnesty application process for 62 individuals from the CPP-NPA-NDF.

Mariannie B. Uy, Peace Program Officer III of LAB Koronadal, led the orientation, educating participants on the amnesty process, its requirements, and opportunities for reintegration into mainstream society.

The Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) provided invaluable legal assistance, with Attorney Nestoni M. Senarillos facilitating the subscription of required documents for amnesty application.

This initiative showcases the collaborative efforts of key government agencies in ensuring a streamlined, supportive, and accessible amnesty process. It underscores the government’s commitment to promoting peace, reconciliation, and reintegration of former rebels into a safe and progressive society.

Eligible individuals are encouraged to take part in the amnesty program, a crucial step toward securing a better future and contributing to a peaceful, insurgency-free region.”
