5 September, 2025 (Kalinga, Cordillera Administrative Region) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) Baguio successfully conducted Amnesty Orientations in Kalinga, starting at the Kalinga Police Provincial Office (KPPO) with the support of PSSg Ricky Bomogao, PLtCol Jack Angog, and PLtCol John B. Cayat.

Despite delays caused by landslides, sixteen (16) former rebels attended the session, with fifteen (15) filing their amnesty applications. The Oath of Allegiance was administered by Atty. Cris Margot Luyaben, ensuring participants fully understood the program’s significance. The notary was done by Atty. Gertrude Joy D. Gamonnac.

The team then proceeded to the Kalinga District Jail, where they were welcomed by JSINSP Noel Dulnuan. One Person Deprived of Liberty (PDL) actively participated in the discussion, expressing interest in applying after consulting with legal counsel.

These activities reflect the commitment of LAB Baguio to extend the Amnesty Program despite challenges, supporting peace, reconciliation, and reintegration in the community.
