06 August, 2025 (Goa, Camarines Sur) β€” The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) – Albay, in close coordination with the 83rd Infantry “Matikas” Battalion of the Philippine Army, successfully conducted an amnesty orientation for peace advocates and receiving of their application. The activity was led by LTC Randy L. Eloreta INF (GSC) PA, Battalion Commander, and facilitated by CPT Jonathan C. Cernitchez.

The orientation aimed to inform and assist participants in understanding the amnesty process, its requirements, and the opportunities it offers for reintegration into mainstream society. As part of the process, the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) – District 4 of Camarines Sur, under the leadership of Atty. Kim Ceasar Dela Fuente, provided legal assistance and facilitated the subscription of required documents for amnesty application.

This initiative is a result of collaborative efforts among key government agencies to ensure a streamlined, supportive, and accessible amnesty process. It underscores the government’s commitment to promoting peace, reconciliation, and the reintegration of former rebels into a safe and progressive society.

We continue to encourage eligible individuals to take part in the amnesty program as a step toward securing a better future for themselves and contributing to a peaceful, insurgency-free region.
