21 July, 2025 (Legazpi City, Albay) – The Local Amnesty Board – Albay (LAB Albay), through the Bicol Secretariat Team, conducted a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Acting Regional Director of Police Regional Office 5 (PRO5), Police Brigadier General Nestor C. Babagay Jr., on 21 July 2025 at Camp Simeon A. Ola, Legazpi City, Albay.

The visit aimed to formally introduce the amnesty program and discuss PBGen Babagay’s role as the newest member of the Local Amnesty Board. During the meeting, the team presented the Handbook of Amnesty to support him in his new responsibilities. A key outcome of the discussion was the collaborative effort to develop a clearer and more efficient process flow for the PNP verification stage—an important step expected to streamline and accelerate the implementation of the amnesty program.

LAB Albay extends its sincere appreciation to PRO5 for its continued support, particularly in providing logistical assistance for LAB Albay’s activities.
