15 September, 2025 (Bangued, Abra) – A successful Orientation and Amnesty Application Intake was held at the Abra Police Provincial Office (PPO) Gymnasium, Camp Col. Juan Villamor, Calaba, Bangued, Abra, through the joint efforts of LAB Baguio and LAB La Union.

What started as an expectation of just seven (7) applicants turned into an overwhelming thirty-seven (37) participants, including one represented by an authorized person.

The event was made possible with the support of key officials and agencies, among them:

– PCOL Charles Domallig, Provincial Director

– PMAJ Harold Alagao, Deputy Chief, POMU

– Selected PHQ Personnel

– Provincial Prosecutor Atty. Nestor Tolentino and Prosecutor Atty. Joaquin Bulong

– Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP)

-Atty Trina Ched Villamor

-Atty. Allen Brix L. Bachiller

-Atty. Sherielyn B. Kub-ao

Their presence and assistance greatly contributed to the smooth facilitation of the mass intake of Former Rebels (FRs). This activity marks another significant step toward peace and reconciliation, and with the unexpected turnout, more applicants are now anticipated in Abra for the upcoming intakes.
