13 October, 2025 (Sorsogon City, Bicol) – A former member of CPP-NPA-NDF formally surrendered to authorities today, at the Sorsogon City Police Station.

The successful surrender was made possible through the help and coordination efforts of PCPT Bonifacio Manganip Jr., Commander of the 92nd Special Action Company, 9th Special Action Battalion, PNP-Special Action Force (SAF), in collaboration with PLTCOL Christopher Aduviso, Chief of Police, Sorsogon City.

Mr. Philipp D. Listanco was also present during the activity to ensure proper coordination and to affirm that the FR will not be subjected to detention. The FR has already applied for the Amnesty Program, and both the safe conduct pass and amnesty application are currently being processed.

This development reflects the ongoing efforts of law enforcement and partner agencies to promote peace and support the reintegration of former rebels into mainstream society.
