The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Isabela, actively participated in the Localized Peace Engagement Meeting for Region II, held at the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) Regional Office, Government Center, Carig, Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.

During the meeting, LAB Isabela conducted an orientation on the National Amnesty Commission, emphasizing its roles, procedures, responsibilities, and the designation of permanent and alternate representatives.

A key outcome of the engagement was the establishment of the LAB Technical Working Group, which plays a crucial role in coordinating the LABs with the Local Government of Isabela. This joint effort between the LABs and the local government further strengthens their collaboration in pursuit of peacebuilding.

The Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU) also discussed additional agenda items related to conflict resolution and localized reconciliation efforts in the region.
