02 September, 2025 (Lagangilang, Abra) – In a bid to promote peace and stability, the Local Amnesty Board La Union, in partnership with the Armed Forces of the Philippines, conducted an amnesty orientation and application at the 501st Brigade in Lagangilang, Abra, with six (6) former rebels seizing the opportunity to reintegrate into society.

Partners from PAO Abra Chapter, IBP Abra Chapter and the City Legal Office of San Fernando City, La Union, also participated in the intake process. This collective effort underscores the commitment of supporting former rebels who’ve chosen to lay down their arms. By working together with government agencies across the region, NAC is creating a pathway for a smooth and just transition, allowing former rebels to rebuild their lives with dignity.
