10 March, 2026 (Silvino Lobos, Northern Samar) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Catbalogan, Samar, in collaboration with the 19th Infantry “Commando” Battalion, held an orientation and intake session for 68 “Friends Rescued” (FRs).

Key attendees included Mr. Noriel Lao Jarito, Municipal Administrator of Silvino Lobos, PSSg Jerry Morillo of the Silvino Lobos Municipal Police Station; 1st Lieutenant Nel C Adolfo, Commanding Officer of Charlie Company, 19th Infantry Battalion; and Captain Jilmer Campos, CMO Officer of the 19th Infantry Battalion.

The 68 FRs took their Oath of Allegiance before the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), who ensured all participants fully understood their commitment. The application intake was facilitated with the support of the Special Project Team (SPT) from the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity (OPAPRU).
