29 January 2026 (Catbalogan, Samar) – Recognizing the importance of the Safe Conduct Pass (SCP), four (4) ‘friends rescued’ from the 63rd Infantry ‘Hinirang’ Battalion who had previously submitted amnesty applications visited the Local Amnesty Board (LAB) office in Catbalogan.

Before the issuance of passes, the LAB Secretariat briefed the recipients on the specific guidelines and responsibilities attached to the SCP. The recipients formally acknowledged their understanding of the document’s limitations and pledged to use the SCP appropriately.
