12 February, 2026 (Candon City, Ilocos Sur) – The Local Amnesty Board successfully wrapped up its amnesty intake in Candon City, Ilocos Sur, with 45 applicants. The event was a joint effort between the 501st Brigade, 24th Infantry Battalion of the AFP, OPAPRU, and the Candon City Police Office, headed by PLTCOL Rodel Del Castillo. The Integrated Bar of the Philippines and Department of Justice also lent their support, with City Prosecutor Gerald Eala and Assistant City Prosecutor Christian De Peralta administering the Oath of Allegiance.
