12 February, 2026 (Baybay City, Leyte) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) Tacloban successfully conducted an Amnesty Orientation and Application Intake in Baybay City, held at the Training Room of the Municipal Hall, which garnered a total of 31 new amnesty applicants during the activity.

This initiative was made possible through the strong collaboration of partner agencies and stakeholders, particularly the City Governments of Tacloban and Ormoc; the 93rd Infantry Battalion; the 802nd Infantry Brigade; the Public Attorney’s Office – Baybay District; and representatives from Uswag Sinirangan Bisayas, who extended their steadfast support and assistance throughout the event.

As the application deadlines draw nearer—𝟬𝟰 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 for members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF), Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF), and Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawang Pilipinas–Revolutionary Proletarian Army–Alex Boncayao Brigade (RPMP–RPA–ABB); and 𝟭𝟯 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 for former members of the Communist Party of the Philippines–New People’s Army–National Democratic Front (CPP–NPA–NDF)—the National Amnesty Commission (NAC) urges all eligible individuals to avail themselves of the government’s amnesty program for the opportunity to begin anew, with restored rights and reintegration into mainstream society.
