11 March, 2026 (Naga City, Camarines Sur) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Albay, Bicol conducted an Amnesty Orientation and processing of applications at the Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office (CSPPO) in Naga City, in coordination with the Police Intelligence Unit (PIU) of CSPPO. The activity aimed to inform qualified applicants about the government’s amnesty program and facilitate the processing of their applications, providing them with an opportunity to formally return to society and begin a new chapter free from the burden of past involvement in armed conflict.

The activity was attended by key officials of the Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office, including Provincial Director PCOL Virgilio O. Olalia Jr., PLTCOL Alex PeΓ±afiel, Chief of the Police Intelligence Unit (PIU), PLTCOL Adnan G. Calib of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (2PMFC), and PMAJ Ryan Anthony P. Ocampo of the 1st Provincial Mobile Force Company (1PMFC). Their presence demonstrated strong institutional support and a shared commitment to ensuring that former rebels are given the opportunity to reintegrate into their communities without fear or guilt through the government’s amnesty program, further reinforcing collective efforts toward lasting peace and reconciliation.
