6 September, 2025 (Lake Sebu, South Cotabato) – The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Koronadal, in collaboration with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of South Cotabato, headed by Atty. Leah Mae Orencio, and the South Cotabato Provincial Mobile Force Company, led by Intel Operative Pat. Kervin L. Agnes, successfully conducted an amnesty orientation and application assistance for peace advocates.

Led by Mariannie B. Uy, Peace Program Officer III of LAB Koronadal, the event aimed to educate and assist participants in understanding the amnesty process, its requirements, and the opportunities it offers for reintegration into mainstream society.

A total of 84 applicants from the CPP-NPA-NDF underwent the orientation and submitted their applications. The Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) of Surallah, South Cotabato, led by Atty. Ana Marie N. Moncera, Public Attorney III, provided invaluable legal assistance and facilitated the subscription of required documents for amnesty application.

This initiative showcases the collaborative efforts of key government agencies to ensure a streamlined, supportive, and accessible amnesty process. It underscores the government’s commitment to promoting peace, reconciliation, and the reintegration of former rebels into a safe and progressive society.

We encourage eligible individuals to take part in the amnesty program, a crucial step toward securing a better future for themselves and contributing to a peaceful, insurgency-free region.
