13 May, 2026 (Iloilo City, Iloilo) – Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Iloilo paid a courtesy visit to the newly designated alternate LAB Member of the Philippine National Police (PNP), PCol. Wilbert Parilla at the Iloilo City Police Office at General Luna St., Iloilo City.

During the visit, the LAB informed PCol. Parilla about his role as a LAB Member, as well as about the expectations for the LAB’s activities moving forward. The LAB also provided a status update on the applications received so far. PCol. Parilla expressed his gratitude and eagerness to assist the LAB in the processing of applications, emphasizing the need to maintain peace and security within the Panay island.

Pending the extension of the period for accepting applications for amnesty, the PNP, in coordination with the LAB, remains hopeful that complete peace all over the Panay Island will be attained in the near future.
