19-20 February, 2026 (Las Navas, Northern Samar) – In coordination with the 20th Infantry “We Lead” Battalion, the Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Catbalogan conducted a two-day amnesty orientation and intake for 132 “Friends Rescued” (FRs) at the Las Navas Municipal Hall.

The proceedings were attended by Lieutenant Colonel Tim C. Clavel and Major Mayford A. Ganar of the 20th Infantry Battalion, Police Captain Jimmy C. Tubigan of the Las Navas Municipal Police Station, Atty. Ferminlino Ultra of the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO), the OPAPRU Special Project Team, and the Barangay Captains of San Miguel and San Francisco.

Following a comprehensive briefing by the LAB Secretariat regarding the government’s amnesty program and the impending 13 March, 2026 deadline, 132 applicants formally filed their petitions and rendered their Oath of Allegiance before PAO counsel.
