11β13 February, 2026 (Malapatan, Sarangani) β The Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Koronadal, in collaboration with the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) of Saranganiβled by Social Welfare Officer IV and E-CLIP Focal Person Ms. Lizette Lopezβand the 73rd Infantry (Neutralizer) Battalion of the 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, Philippine Army, facilitated an Amnesty Orientation and Application Assistance Program.
Held at the Alpha Company Headquarters in Malapatan, Sarangani Province, the three-day activity garnered a total of 76 amnesty applications from former members of the CPP-NPA-NDF. Additionally, LAB Koronadal conducted the ceremonial awarding of Safe Conduct Passes to 23 “Friends Rescued,” ensuring their protection and safe participation in the amnesty process.
Ms. Mariannie B. Uy, Peace Program Officer III of LAB Koronadal, led the orientation session, providing comprehensive discussions on the amnesty program, documentary requirements, legal procedures, and the opportunities available for reintegration into mainstream society.
The Public Attorneyβs Office (PAO) extended invaluable legal assistance during the activity, with Atty. Nestoni M. Senarillos facilitating the administration and subscription of required documents.
This event highlights the strong collaborative efforts of government agencies in ensuring a streamlined, supportive, and accessible amnesty process for those choosing the path of peace.
