4 February, 2026 (Labo, Camarines Norte) – The Local Amnesty Board of Albay, in coordination with the 42nd Infantry Battalion and the Public Attorney’s Office (PAO) Labo District, assisted 13 ‘Friends Rescued’ (FRs) in filing their amnesty applications in Brgy. Mahawan-hawan, Labo, Camarines Norte. Among the applicants were two high-profile Secretaries and former members of the CPP-NPA-NDF.

To date, 526 amnesty applications have been filed across the Bicol region. This milestone reflects the government’s unwavering commitment to peace and reconciliation, driven by the sustained collaboration of various agencies.
