05 February, 2026 (Catbalogan, Samar) – Recognizing the vital importance of the Safe Conduct Pass (SCP), three (3) β€˜friends rescued’ who had previously submitted their amnesty applications visited the Local Amnesty Board (LAB) office in Catbalogan. The visit was facilitated with the assistance of troops from the 3rd Infantry Battalion.

Before the issuance of the passes, the LAB Secretariat conducted a formal briefing for the recipients regarding the specific guidelines, privileges, and responsibilities associated with the SCP. The recipients formally acknowledged their understanding of the document’s limitations and pledged to use the SCP appropriately as they transition back into mainstream society.

Following the briefing, a new applicantβ€”accompanied by 3rd Infantry Battalion (3IB) troopsβ€”formally filed his application for amnesty.
