28 January, 2026 (Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte) – As the deadline for amnesty applications for Friends Rescued (FR) of CPP-NPA-NDF draws near, the Local Amnesty Board (LAB) of Butuan conducts another batch of Amnesty Application and Intake Activity at 29th Infantry Battalion, Philippine Army, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte on January 28, 2026.

During the activity, a total of Thirty-Four (34) FRs voluntarily filed their amnesty applications. This significant turnout was made possible through the coordination of 29IB PA, Kagawasan143 Peace Center, Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office of Agusan del Norte, and OPAPRU Caraga.

This intake activity reflects LAB Butuan’s consistent progress in facilitating reintegration to our FRs across Caraga.
