26–27 January, 2026 (Sorsogon) — The Local Amnesty Board – Albay conducted Amnesty Orientation activities at the Irosin District Jail and Sorsogon City District Jail on January 26 and 27, 2026, respectively, as part of its continuing efforts to disseminate information on the amnesty program.

On January 26, 2026, LAB Albay visited the Irosin District Jail and conducted an amnesty orientation for eight ( Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs) identified as members of the CPP-NPA-NDF. During the activity, two (2) PDLs were encouraged to formally surrender and subsequently submitted their applications for amnesty, signifying their full commitment to regain their freedom.

The following day, January 27, 2026, LAB Albay conducted a similar orientation at the Sorsogon City District Jail for seven (7) PDLs identified as members of the CPP-NPA-NDF. Two (2) of them were likewise encouraged to formally surrender and submitted their amnesty applications, further demonstrating that our information dissemination efforts are producing meaningful results.
