4 March, 2026 (Bacolod City) – Veronica β€œKa Inca” Tabara, KAPATIRAN Chairperson, filed her Amnesty application through the Local Amnesty Board (LAB) in Bacolod.

Ka Inca, along with 36 other members of the RPM/P-RPA-ABB filed their respective amnesty applications in a mass intake activity at Sitio Ling-ab, Brgy. San Miguel, Tanjay City, Negros Oriental spearheaded by the LAB Bacolod in coordination with the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace, Reconciliation and Unity.

A day prior, Joseph Stephen Salupeza Paduano, also known as “Caraps”, former representative of Abang Lingkod Partylist and national commander of RPA-ABB from 1996 to 2010, also filed his amnesty application along with 52 other members of the group.

Mr. Paduano shared his enthusiasm toward the amnesty program. β€œThe amnesty program is the culmination of our efforts and serves as the final step toward attaining the peace agreement we have pursued for the past two decades,” he said.

Today concludes the two-year amnesty application period for members of the RPM/P-RPA-ABB, the Moro Islamic Liberation Fron (MILF), and Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF). The NAC ended the day with a total of 411, 1258, and 638 applications from the three groups, respectively.

Meanwhile, the NAC is still accepting applications from former members of the Communist Party of the Philippines/New People’s Army/National Democratic Front and its front organizations. To date, the NAC has received 9,511 applications, with the deadline set on 13 March 2026.
