Metro Manila, Philippines – The National Amnesty Commission (NAC) closed the year 2025 with another group of amnesty applications approved by His Excellency, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. A new batch of seven (7) amnesty applications was granted by the President on 26 December 2025, following the first batch of nine (9) approved in September 2025. This brings the total number of approved amnesty applications to sixteen (16): fifteen (15) from former members of the Communist Party of the Philippines–New People’s Army–National Democratic Front (CPP–NPA–NDF) and one (1) from a member of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF).

In addition, the NAC recorded a total of 7,171 applications as of the end of the year, reflecting the growing interest in and trust of former combatants in the government’s amnesty program. These applications are broken down as follows:

β€’ 5,755 applications from former members of the Communist Party of the Philippines–New People’s Army–National Democratic Front (CPP–NPA–NDF);

β€’ 928 from members of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF);

β€’ 396 from members of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF); and

β€’ 92 from members of the Rebolusyonaryong Partido ng Manggagawa ng Pilipinas–Revolutionary Proletarian Army–Alex Boncayao Brigade (RPM-P/RPA-ABB).

As the application deadlines draw nearer β€” 04 March 2026 for members of the MILF, MNLF, and RPM-P/RPA-ABB, and 13 March 2026 for former members of the CPP–NPA–NDF β€” the Commission urgently calls on those who wish to avail themselves of the government’s amnesty program to come forward. Interested applicants are encouraged to apply at the nearest Local Amnesty Boards (LABs) nationwide for an opportunity to begin a renewed life and a path toward reintegration into mainstream society.
